Who we are Paul Galpin Paul Galpin has been one of the main developers and development managers of the TASCflow and ANSYS CFX software; he is a renowned expert in the development of commercial CFD software for over 30 years, in numerical methods, and in rotor-stator interaction algorithms including transient blade row methods and aero-mechanics applications. Thorsten Hansen Thorsten Hansen has worked as a team leader at ANSYS Germany for 18 years specialising in turbomachinery simulations. He and his team have successfully supported several major accounts in the turbomachinery and power generation industry, and helped their customers to establish innovative and more efficient simulation workflows. Georg Scheuerer Georg Scheuerer founded Advanced Scientific Computing in Germany which is the predecessor of ANSYS Germany, and has successfully grown this company over a period of 25 years. Georg’s academic background is turbulence, heat transfer and multiphase flow. Georg also brings experience and expertise in project, account and team management.
